Can I buy one of your products without buying a whole gift assortment?

You sure can! Browse our “Gift Ideas” section to shop by price. And if you’re shopping for a special occasion, you can also add one of our awesome Cards and Gift Bags to the mix.

How do you pack everything for shipping? Will everything stay in place and still look good when I (or my gift recipient) receive it?

We pack the contents snug as a bug in a rug, with extra padding and protection for breakables. However we can’t predict what kind of (mis)treatment the boxes might undergo outside in the big, bad, scary world. Our goal is to make sure it looks as pristine as possible upon arrival. Please let us know if that isn’t the case.

What if some of the items are damaged or missing upon arrival?

USPS includes insurance for up to $50 on the shipping method we use. That means if something breaks, the US Post Office will reimburse you the replacement cost. For damaged or missing contents (due to outer container damage), we recommend filing a claim with the USPS immediately, but you must file no later than 60 days from the date of mailing. For missing content that isn’t due to shipping damage (i.e. in the case that we humans here at Mixed Up Gifts might have screwed up and forgot to include an item, or included an incorrect item!!! doh! But that would never ever happen in a million years!) Please contact us immediately and we will send the missing item free of charge.

What is your return policy?

We are confident that your Very Important Gift Recipient is going to be incredibly delighted when they receive their Mixed Up Gift, but if that is not the case please contact us and we will resolve any issues with an exchange or a refund.

Can I switch out a product for a different product within a pre-set gift theme?

You can add as many additional gifts to our pre-arranged gift collections as you want. However swapping items that are pre-defined is not possible at this time. Have you tried creating your own gift collection from scratch? Yes – we have a way you can do that!!

What kind of gift wrap, crinkle paper, or tissue paper will be used in my gift?

For now, our gift packaging experts select colors and patterns based on the theme you select. So for example, Halloween collections will most likely be orange or black. Valentine’s Day will most likely be red, or include a heart design of some sort. If you are set on a specific color combination, please make a note during the checkout process and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes if we have what you want in stock.

Is this website completely secure?

Short answer: YES! You are safe to shop with us! Our Woocommerce webstore is hosted with a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate, and we use Mijireh Checkout, which makes us fully PCI Compliant: http://www.mijireh.com/what-it-is/ We also give you the option of using PayPal, which is one of the most trusted payment options out there.

Why am I being charged sales tax?

The law requires us to charge sales tax if the ship-to address shares any of the same tax jurisdictions as our location here in Lakewood, Colorado. We do not charge sales tax on shipments outside of Colorado. We use a very robust and reliable tax calculating service to make sure everything is calculated 100% correctly; no more, no less.

How long will it take to ship?

We mail everything via the USPS and include insurance. Most items will take 1-5 business days to arrive, depending on the shipping destination. Exceptions apply and delivery time is not guaranteed. We recommend ordering at least 7 business days before you need the gift to arrive.

Do you have a brick and mortar shop I can come visit instead?

A note about gender-neutrality...

Mixed Up Gifts believes that any product can be used by anyone, regardless of gender. We maintain some level of the typical “for him”, “for her” shopping language on our website to help some people navigate our products, some of the time.
